This Privacy Policy describes how MinimaSTEPS (“the App”) handles your information. We take your privacy seriously and are committed to protecting your data.
1. No Data Collection
The App does not collect or transmit any personal data to the developer or any third party. This includes, but is not limited to: names, email addresses, IP addresses, device identifiers, or usage analytics.
The App does not use cookies, advertising, tracking tools, or third-party SDKs.
2. Motion & Fitness Permission
The App uses Apple’s Motion & Fitness permission (CoreMotion) to read step count data directly from your device.
This data is processed on-device and is not sent anywhere.
3. Local History Storage
The App stores step history locally on your device in the App’s private storage. The App does not back up, upload, or sync your data to any server or cloud.
Please note: deleting the App may delete your local history unless you have manually exported or backed it up.
4. Exporting and Importing
You may choose to export or import your step history using standard iOS system tools. When exporting, a copy of the exported JSON file is passed to the target app or service you select. The App does not track or store any information about export/import activity.
5. Third-Party Services
The App does not use third-party services, analytics, ads, or external integrations. All functionality runs entirely on your device.
6. Your Responsibility
By using the App, you accept full responsibility for your device data and backups. You agree that:
- You use the App at your own risk.
- You are responsible for keeping backups (via Export) outside the App.
- The developer is not liable for any data loss, corruption, or other damage resulting from the use or misuse of the App.
7. Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Your continued use of the App after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
